Huw Edwards is an independent trainer and consultant specialising in understanding Parliament, devolution and public policy and is an external consultant and core trainer with Positif. He has worked with Daran Hill in delivering a variety of training events based on items of Assembly legislation, political processes and public policy areas. Together they have delivered services in open courses and in-house training events for clients.

Huw is also an Associate Lecturer of the National School of Government, the former civil service college and has also worked as training consultant for ModernGov. He currently provides in-house training for the staff of the National Assembly for Wales.

From 1997 to 2005 Huw was Member of Parliament for Monmouth and Vice Chair of the All Party Group on Carers. He was previously Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at the University of Brighton, teaching health, housing and social services policy, government and politics; Huw has also been a tutor with the Open University.
